Please remember that this lecture will take place at MASONIC VILLAGE AT SEWICKLEY and not at the SVHS space at the Old Sewickley Post Office Building. Once you arrive on the Masonic Village campus, you should follow the directional signs to the Clubhouse Assembly Room. You can park out front of the Clubhouse, and come in the door at the overhang. There is a team member at the door that can guide you to the Assembly Room.
SVHS invites you to join us on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. for the fourth lecture of the 2023-2024 program season -- "The Story of the Valley Care Association of Sewickley -- Planning for the future by examining the past" presented, in person, by Alison Conte.
Founded in 1978, and driven by a deeply personal family experience, the Valley Care Association of Sewickley sparked a community to come together to create an organization that would not only fill a gap in the market, but transform the way services for the elderly were delivered in the Sewickley area that continues to this day.
Join us on Wednesday, March 20 when SVHS welcomes Alison Conte, author of Valley Care Association of Sewickley, PA, Aging with Comfort and Dignity, as she shares the history of the organization and the process of documenting its work and story.
Please note the location for this event! This lecture will be held at The Masonic Village at Sewickley -- 1000 Masonic Dr, Sewickley, PA 15143.
While we will try our best to have it set up and running – with the off-site location – the zoom option may not be available.
This event is FREE and open to the public. Advance registration preferred via the SVHS website, or by contacting the SVHS office at 412-741-5315 | info@sewickleyhistory.org
