SVHS is a federally tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Donations in excess of basic dues are tax-deductible. SVHS will send written acknowledgement of contributions of $250 or more per IRS regulation.
SVHS Annual Meeting 2024
The 2024 SVHS Annual Meeting will be held at the Merrick Art Gallery in New Brighton. Thursday, May 16, 2024, 6-9 pm. The event is free to SVHS members and their guests, but space is limited and advance registration is required. Please use this page to register no later than 5.9.2024.

Join us for the SVHS Annual Meeting 2024!
On Thursday, May 16 from 6 pm- 9 pm, SVHS invites members and their guests to join them at the Merrick Art Gallery in New Brighton, PA for the Annual Meeting of the Sewickley Valley Historical Society. The evening will include:
- SVHS President Marty O'Brien reviewing general business of SVHS.
- SVHS Committee chairs highlighting the work of SVHS in 2023-2024.
- Presentation of the 2024 Preservation Award.
- Celebration of the 2023-2024 Preservation Grant.
- Presentation of the 2024 Preservation Opportunities.
- The members vote on the new slate of SVHS board members as proposed by the Nominating Committee.
- Dinner for attendees.
- Tours of the Merrick Art Gallery.
- Access to Merrick Art Gallery grounds (weather permitting).
The event is free, but limited only to members of SVHS and up to one guest per member.
All attendees must be registered in advance.
